Spring Hill--Funeral services will be 11am Tuesday at St Michael's Cathol ic Church for Louis A Schoenborn, 92, who died Saturday at Melrose Hospital. The Rev Albin Sauer will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30pm today at Schad Funeral Home, Melrose. Parish prayers will be at 8 tonight at the funeral home in Melrose followed by Spring Hill Men's Society at 8:30.
Louis Schoenborn was born June 7 1896, in Melrose to John and Margaret (Winter) Schoenborn. He married Mary Schulzetenberg Sept 30 1919 in Meire Grove and farmed near Spring Hill most of his life. He was a member of St Michael's Parish, Spring Hill Men's Society, former member of Spring Hill Township Board and School District 21 Board and a former Spring Hill Townhip assessor.
Survivors include his wife, Melrose; sons and daughters, Arthur, Maple Grove; Jerome and Mrs Alcuin (Dorine) Illies, St Cloud; David, Spring Hill; Mrs Alphonse (Hildegard) Schmiesing, Meire Grove; Rose Mary, Rochester; brot hers and sisters, Henry, Joseph and Mrs Martha Nathe, St Cloud; Mrs Alma Hinnenkamp, St Martin; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Norbert; brothers and sister s, Michael, William, Leo, Mrs Margaret Nathe and Mrs Rose Vaughan; and one grandchild. Pallbearers will be Arthur G, Stephen and Brian Schoenborn, David and Mark Schmiesing and Rueben Nathe. Memorials are preferred to St Michael's Parish.
