Funeral services will be 11am Monday at St Michael's Catholic Church for Henry L "Harry" Schoenborn, 88, 24 16th Ave N, formerly of Spring Hill, w ho died Sunday at Downey, Calif. The Rev Albin Sauer will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call after 3:30pm Sunday at Schad Funeral Home, Melrose. Parish prayers will be 8pm Sunday at the funeral home in Melrose follow ed by St Michael's Men's Society at 8:30.
Henry Schoenborn was born Feb 20 1901, in Spring Hill Township, Stearns County, to John and Margaret (Winter) Schoenborn. He married Ida Schramel Sept 7 1926, in Lake Henry and farmed near Spring Hill until retiring in 19 77 and moving to St Cloud. He was a member of St Michael's Parish and Men 's Society of Spring Hill, ST Cloud Eagles Aerie 622, and former member of Melrose Council Knights of Columbus, St Cloud Moose Lodge 1400 and Spring Hill School Board.
Survivors include his wife; sons and daughters, Del Roy, Albany; Robert, Bloomington; Herbert, Minneapolis; Allen, St Cloud; Mrs Robert (Marion) Busk, Norwalk, Calif; Mrs James (Joan) Wein, Orange, Calif; brother and sisters, Joseph and Mrs Martha Nathe, St Cloud; Mrs Alma Hinnenkamp, St Marti n; 17 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Mrs Virgil (Lorraine) H aus; brothers and sisters, Michael, William, Leo, Louis, Mrs Rose Vaughn a nd Margaret Nathe, and two granchildren. Pallbearers will be Randall, Ronald, Craig and Jeff Schoenborn, Raymond, A lvin and Melvin Haus and Terry, David and Dean Busk.
