Anna " Elisabeth" Nathe
(January 28, 1830 - February 5, 1905)
Elizabeth had married Eberhard Homberg in 1853 in Helden, and they had one daughter. It is thought that she was pregnant with their second daughter when Eberhard died.
Elizabeth and her daughter Elizabeth traveled with Anton and his mother Anna Margaretha Besting Nathe, to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1858. There they were reunited with the Primus family, Joseph and Caspar who had settled there.
Emigration: September 2, 1854 from Port of Bremen, Germany to New York on Ship Ella.

Mrs. Elizabeth Zierden

Mrs. Elizabeth Zierden died at her home in New Munich last Sunday evening, February fifth, at the age of 72 years, the victim of pneumonia. The funeral took place on Tuesday morning and was conducted from the New Munich church.
Mrs. Zierden was born in Germany in 1829. She married Eberhardt J. Homberg in 1854 and in the same year, came to America. After residing in New York and Wisconsin for a few years, they come to Minnesota and settled near Meire Grove in 1860.
In 1861 Mr. Homberg died leaving his widow with a few small children. Later she was married to Mathias Zierden whereupon they moved to New Munich where they resided until 1888 when they went to Florida. After residing there for several years they returned to there former home in New Munich. Mr. Zierden died in 1900 to be followed by his wife five years later.
The deceased leaves the following sons and daughters to mourn her loss: Mrs. Andrew Bortle of St. Joseph, FL; Joe Homberg, of this city; Mrs. Jacob Klaprich, Peter Zierden, Jos Zierden, Casper Zierden and Mrs. F.W. Terhaar of New Munich.
The relatives who came from a distance to attend the funeral were: Peter Ritter of West Union, Mrs. Jos Schulte of London, and Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bredeck of Albany.
