Individual Details
Cora BROWN
(Abt 1869 - 1870)
Cora's tombstone dates cannot be read and the reminder of the tombstone is very hard to read but it does indicate she was the daughter of M. L. and M. A. Brown. One transcriber could not read the death month but transcribed the day as 27 and the year as 1870. On 30 July 1870 she is in the 1870 Census with the family at Wagner, Clayton County, Iowa. She is not with the family in the 1880 Census taken in Haney, Crawford County, Wisconsin. Her mother, Margaret Ann, indicated in the 1900 and 1910 Census that she had six children with four living. Cora's sister, Ina, died in 1897 and it is assumed Cora died in 1870.
Cora's birth and death places could be either Wisconsin or Iowa.
