In 1920 Census he is single and living with his mother and sister working as a self-employed cement mason in Dazey.
In 1925 North Dakota state census he is listed as single and 60 years old.
In 1930, 1935, and 1940 he is living in Dazey and in 1940 he is living with his sister Annie.
He is mentioned as a resident of Dazey in the Dazey Centennial Book.
