The oldest of Joen and Berit's children, Berith is the only child to remain in Norway. She married Ole Stageberg, known as Ole Olsen (of) Østkil on 20 Jul 1871 in Hegra. According to the Stjørdalsboka for Hegra, Ole purchased Stågåberget (auksjonsskjøte/perhaps at auction) in 1871. Ole was born 7 Jul 1825 and died 23 Apr 1891. Berith sold Stågåberget in 1904 to A/S Huitfeldt.
