Sigrid, the daughter of the tenant farmer John Johansen Storflorjerdet and wife Eli Arntsdatter, was born February 22, 1853 and baptized in the church of Hegra May 8, the same year.
When Sigrid was married, her father was called Jon Olsen, while by her birth, his name is said to be John Johansen. When she was confirmed Oct. 4, 1868, he is mentioned as Jon Jonsen.

Their marriage date is given as 31 May 1878, and the parish register 1863-1879 of Hegra parish-of-ease of upper Stjordal parish shows that the maiden Sigrid Jonsdtr. and the bachelor Andreas Jonsen Lilleflor had a son "Jon" who was born July 14 and baptized Sept. 3, 1876.

The funeral of Mrs. Andrew Staberg took place Wednesday afternoon of this week. Services were held at the home on First Street at 1:30 p.m. and at the Ebenzer Lutheran church at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. N. L. Blomholm. Mrs.
Staberg suffered a paralytic stroke last Wednesday, her death following at an early hour Monday morning.

Sigrid Florin was born near Trondhjem, Norway on Feb. 22, 1853 and grew to womanhood there. She was married to Andreas Staberg at Trondhjemsamt in 1876 and they made their home there until the fall of 1884 when they emigrated to America. Three or four days before landing, their daughter Bertina, was born. The family made their home in Goodhoue County, Minnesota for a number of years later, moving to Lakeland where they lived until the fall of 1898 when they moved to Hudson where they have since resided.
The family was affiliated with the Ebenzer Church where Mrs. Staberg was an active member as long as her health permitted. .
Some four years ago Mrs. Staberg broke her left limb at the hip and since then has never been as active. On Tuesday morning, October 6, she suffered a stroke of paralysis of the throat, from which she never rallied up to the time of her passing into the Great Beyond on Monday morning, Octber 12, 1925, age seventy-three years.
Through her declining years Mrs. Staberg was blessed wtih watchful, kindly care as long a loving heart could bestow.
Mrs. Staberg leaves to mourn her passing, besides her husband, six children, Mrs. Martha Pierson of Braham, Minn., Mrs. Ellen Olson of Milaca, Minn., Mrs. Bertina Sangsland of Hettinger, N. Dak., Mrs. Annie Engstrom of this city and two sons, Joe and John A., also of this city, about 40 grandchildren and three or four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral services took place on Wednesday, October 14 from the family residence on First Street and later from Ebenzer church, Rev. N. L. Blomholm conducting the last services in the dainty sacred little chapel, that had been erected for him, that he may continue in his work of love and service on the ashes of the beautiful edifice in which he has labored so long. Mrs. Blomholm sang two numbers. Mrs. Staberg was one of the oldest members. She was laid to rest in Willow River Cemetery.
Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Nels Pierson and son of Braham, Minnesota, daughter Olga from St. Paul, and Mrs. J. E. Olson of Milica, Minnesota; James Staberg of St. Paul and sisters Bernice, Ethel and Ruth Staberg and sons of Lakeland; Mr. and Mrs. O. Dahl of Lakeland; Mrs. Annie Florin of Grove City and son Florin of Willmar, Minnesota; Peter Ovik and daughter, Lily, and Mrs. D. Daniels and husband and son of Graston, Minnesota; Peter Ovik and John Florin of Grove City, Minnesota and Miss Thelma Stayberg of Stillwater; Miss Jeannette Stayberg of St. Paul.
