The emigrant lists of the Trondheim Police Office show that Ole J. Florbakken, 40, and his wife, Ane, 31, and their son Jon, 11, left upper Stjordal parish for Claremont, Minn., according to contract dated April 23, 1879. Their tickets were paid for in America.

Passed Away Yesterday
Nov. 16, 1904. Ole Floren, the aged father of John Floren, who lives three miles north of the city, died yesterday morning at 12:30 at the home of his son. Death was due to a general breaking up of the vital forces. Deceased was 65 years of age. He leaves to survive him his wife, besides the son with whom the aged couple made their home for some time.
Funeral services over the remains will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at one o'clock. The funeral will take place from the Solomon Lake Synod church, Rev. Andersen officiating.
