Mrs. Isaac Mann Dies at Hospital
Gertrude C. Mann, (Mrs. Isaac), 75, of R2, Hudson, died Wednesday, Jan. 24 at Hudson Memorial hospital.
Mrs. Mann was born June 26, 1903, in Troy township the daughter of Louis and Mary (Karras) Larsen.
She was married to Isaac W. Mann July 15, 1923 who preceded her in death March 2, 1977.
They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary July 15, 1973, at which time they had a family reunion.
She is survived by three sons, Isaac W. Jr. of Altoona, John A. of Tucson, Ariz., and Richard S. of Hudson; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Bernice) Shugart of Wichita, Kans.; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by three brothers, Alfred and Joseph Larsen of Hudson and Louis Larsen of Stillwater, and by three sisters, Mrs. Helen Yanish of St. Paul, Mrs. William (Agnes) Noltner of River Falls and Mrs. Anna Kent of River Falls.
There was a Bible reading Friday, Jan. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at the Swanson Funeral Home.
Services were Saturday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic church with Rev. Fr. Robert O'Connell officiating. Mrs. John Sandquist played the organ and Mrs. John J. Ruemmele directed the choir.
Interment was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Larsen, Jack Ivarsen, Richard Mann, Michael Mann, Brian Mann and David Mann.
