Louis E. Larsen, 73, of Stillwater, died Monday, Jan. 5, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital of an apparent heart attack.
He was born near Hudson, April 15, 1913, the son of Louis C. and Mary (Karras) Larsen. He attended country school.
He was a longtime employee of St. Croix Manufacturing in Stillwater. Earlier he was employed as a truck driver and worked at Quality Park Farms, then owned by industrialist Charles A. Ward.
Surviving are his wife, the former Florence Filkens; two daughters, Mrs. LeRoy (Doris) Hollerbach of Nickerson, Minn., and Mrs. Brian (Bette) LaBelle of North Branch, Minn; grandchildren, Marvella, Aaron, Lance, Tasha, Kane, Misty, Hoss and Jacky; four great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfred and Joseph of Hudson; and two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Nolter of River Falls and Mrs. Helen Yanish of S. St. Paul.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 7., at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with interment in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Hudson.
Jones-Bradshaw Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
