Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Paul and Engwald, and two sisters, Johanna Carlson and Selma Hanson.

Myrtle Sargent and Albert Hanson Wed
Miss Myrtle Sargent, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sargent of St. Joe, and Albert Hanson, son of Mrs. H. Hanson of Hudson were married at one o’clock Saturday afternoon at the Bethel Lutherman church, Rev. Oscar Thompson officiating.
They were attended by Miss Gladys Hanson, niece of the groom, and Wilfred Mattson.
The bride was attired in a charming white silk moire taffeta floor length dress and wore a head band of white roses and accessories to match. She carried an arm bouquet of white daisies. The bridesmaid wore a blue floral silk dress and white accessories and carried an arm bouquet of painted daisies, the flowers picked from the bride’s mother’s garden.
After the ceremony the bridal couple left on a week end wedding trip to northern Wisconsin and Minnesota.
For her gowing away outfit, the bride woere a white tailored suit and white accessories to match.

Myrtle Hanson
Myrtle A. Hanson, 92, of rural Hudson died Thursday, June 7, at the Kinnickinnic Long Term Care Center in River Falls.
Myrtle was born August 10, 1914, in the town of St. Joseph, the daughter of Benjamin W. and Martha (Doerer) Sargent. Being raised in St. Joseph, she attended the McKinley School.
She worked as a cook for a time for a well-known banker in Hudson named Cecil Day.
On June19, 1937, she was married at Bethel Lutheran Church to Albert P. Hanson. She was well known as a good cook and a gardner with a green thumb. She said when her savior took her, shewas ready to die. Her last words were, "Good Night."
Myrtle is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin W. and Martha (Doerer) Sargent; her son, Kenneth Archie Hanson; and two brothers, Kenneth and Archie Sargent.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Hanson of Hudson; daughter Beverly Bronfeld of Westport, Conn., and grandson, Kenneth "Kelly" Hanson of Bemidji, Minn.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, at Bethel Lutheran Church, downtown Hudson. Burial will be in the Houlton Cemetery.
