Elizabeth Wright's father, Ajolon Wright, was a farmer in Grant county,
Wisconsin, ca 1847-1872, and in Hamilton county, Nebraska, ca 1872-1899. He
was born 14 Nov 1812 in Ohio, and died 21 May 1899 at Giltner, Hamilton county,
Nebraska. His parents were David Wright, Jr. (1786-1840) and Elizabeth
Wintersteen (1791/96-1873). David Wright, Sr. was born about 1751 and died
in 1838. He was married to Sarah Talbot.
Sarah (Sally) Bolenbaugh was born 28 Dec 1812 at Shanesville, Tuscarawas
county, Ohio, and died 17 Feb 1915 at Hyannis, Grant county, Nebraska at the
age of 102 years, 1 month and 20 days. Her parents were John Bolenbaugh (died
1854) and Elizabeth Stetler (died 1853).
Elizabeth Wright had siblings:
(1) John, born 18 Aug 1838, Ohio; died during the Civil War, Battle of
Wilderness.
(2) Cyrus, born 13 May 1841, Ohio; died 3 Nov 1922 in Orange county, California.
He was a Civil War veteran.
(3) Owen, born 25 Oct 1847, Grant county, Wisconsin; died 9 Jun 1935 at
Giltner, Hamilton county, Nebraska.
(4) Abigail "Abbie", born 28 Feb 1849 in Wisconsin; died in 1944.
(5) James, born 6 Jul 1851/1853 in Grant county, Wisconsin; died 22 Feb
1941/1942 in Grant county, Nebraska.
(6) Margaret "Maggie", born 15 Dec 1853 in Wisconsin; died 1937.

AGED LADY ANSWERS THE FINAL SUMMONS
After an illness which last for the past two months, death called Mrs.
Elizabeth Williams, wife of Jas. C. Williams of Jordan at her home here,
Tuesday morning, November 24th at 7:00 o'clock. Old age coupled with her
illness during the past two months was more than the aged lady could stand,
resulting in her death.
With her at the time of death was her husband, two sons and three daughters.
Services were conducted at the Presbyterian Community church, Wesnesday
afternoon at 3:00 o'clock Rev. Wm. G. Johnson officiating. Six members of the
local Legion Post acted as pall-bearers. Interment was made in the Greenridge
cemetery.
The Times joins with other friends of the surviving relatives in extending
sincere sympathy to them.
Obituary
Elizabeth Williams was born in Ohio August 7th, 1840 and died at Jordan,
Montana November 24th, 1925, aged 85 years. Mrs. Williams was the daughter of
Ajolon and Sarah Wright. In the spring of 1865 she was united in marriage to
James C. Williams in Wisconsin, where they resided for sometime, later going to
Nebraska and, in 1912 located in Garfield county on the head of Snow Creek.
Mr. Williams is a veteran of the Civil War.
Besides her husband, deceased leaves to mourn her untimely taking away four
daughters: Mrs. Sarah Frances Clawson of Mason City, Ia.; Mrs. Frank Haney of
Finger Butte, Montana; Mrs. Lou Nelson of Jordan, Montana; and Mrs. Joe Reed
of Creston, South Dakota; three sons: John Williams, West Plains, Missouri;
William Williams, Butte Creek, Montana; and Cyrus Williams, also of Butte
Creek, Montana.
