Fort Lewis, Wash.,-- James W. Williams, formerly of Jordan, has been assigned
to the 4th Infantry Division at Fort Lewis, Washington for basic training.
Pvt. Williams is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.M. Williams who live at Jordan.
He is assigned to Company B, 130th Infantry Regiment.

JAMES WILLIAMS NOW SERVING IN GERMANY
With the 28th Infantry Div. in Germany-- Pvt. James Williams, son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Williams, Jordan, recently arrived in Germany for duty with the
28th Infantry Division.
The 28th Division is now receiving intensive field training as part of the
North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) force on guard in western Europe.
Private Williams was last stationed at Fort Lewis, Wash., where he completed
basic training. Williams entered the Army last January.
