The Jordan Tribune, 16Nov1950, LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Oct. 29, 1950
Dear Editor,
I read in the paper where you put my address in, but haven't heard from many
people yet. I wish some of my friends around Jordan would drop me a few lines
to let me know how they are getting along.
I am in North Korea now. We have really been moving since we left Taegu, South
Korea-- never in one place very long. I have been in Korea since the middle of
July. I surely will be glad when this mess is over. It kinda looks like it may
be over soon.
They sure leave everything behind. We have lots of Russian trucks, etc., and
we get lots of prisoners every day now. They just come in and give up in big
bunches.
I am writing this letter to thank you for putting my address in the paper. I
am sure I have more mail some place now, and it will catch up soon.
Yours truly,
Cpl. John Williams 19350792
