Death
VEEDERSBURG, IND. —Claudine H. Weber, 83, of Veedersburg, Ind., died at 10:15 a.m. on Friday, March 2, at Waters of Covington Nursing Home. She was born March 29, 1917, in Newtown, Ind., to Luke and Georgia Fleming Furr. She was married June 15, 1935, to John D. Weber in Veedersburg. He preceded her in death in 1991. She was also preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers. She is survived by: two sons, Larry of Veedersburg, and Robert of Attica; two daughters, Martha Hartle of Veedersburg, and Lois Devrise of Lafayette, Ind.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Furr of Waynetown and Eugene of Danville, Ill.; three sisters, Catherine Keller of Lafayette, Margaret Austin of Mellott, Ind., and Florence Epperson of Auburndale, Fla.; and a special friend, Kim Lefton. Mrs. Weber worked for R.M.C. in Attica for 20 years and for Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville as a respiratory therapist, retiring after 11 years. She was a volunteer for The Helping Hands program at the Waters of Covington Nursing Home. She was a member of Stonebluff United Methodist Church and was very active with the children's Bible study group. Services: 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, at Stonebluff United Methodist Church. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Stonebluff United Methodist Church. Burial: Newtown Cemetery in Newtown, Ind.Endnotes
