Death
STAUNTON -- Abraham Lincoln Furr, 81, died at his home at Fishersville, Wednesday after a week's illness. He was born near Staunton and is survived by these children: Mrs. Edward Cupp, Spring Hill; Mrs. W. B. Andes, Waynesboro; Mrs. J. A. Berry, Staunton; Mrs. E. P.Coiner, Waynesboro; Boyd A. Furr, Lynchburg; and his second wife, Mayme Miller Furr. The funeral was held Friday at Pleasant View Lutheran Church, the Revs, David F. Glover and T. G. Shuey officiating. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery.Richmond Times Dispatch, Richmond, Virginia, April 12, 1941
