Death

Alice Virginia Trenum, 86 of Locust Grove, VA passed away on October 30, 2016 at her home. She was born on May 5, 1930 at Marshall, VA a daughter of the late Jack and Kathryn Furr.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Trenum, Sr. Mrs. Trenum was retired as a Fashion Buyer with Montgomery Ward after 20 years of service.  She was a member of the Community Church, Culpeper. She is survived by her son Donald Trenum, Jr. and his wife Billie; her daughter Sylvia Sekely and her husband Fred; grandchildren, John and Donna, Kristina and David, Kelli, Tracy, Justin, Sarah, and Bobby;  great grandchildren, Carly, Tyler, Nathaniel, Cheyanne, Brady, Blake, Lanney, Katelyn, Allison, Jayden, Brooke, Teah, Makala, and Alexis;  great great grandchildren, Westin, D. J. and Kylan; sisters, Virginia Furr, Georgia Dawson and Mabel Canard and her brother, Charles Furr. The famly will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 4 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home, Warrenton, VA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 11:00 AM at the Family Community Church, 120 Chestnut Street, Culpeper, VA .  Interment will follow at Bright View Cemetery, Warrenton.
