Death
FORT MILL — Lee Daniel Furr, 68, of Rt. 1, Fort Mill, died Sunday at York General Hospital. Born in York County, he was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church and retired contractor and farmer. He was memberof Order of Redman. Funeral will be Tuesday at 5 p.m. from Flint Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Coy R. Miller officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Ada Griffin Furr; four daughters, Miss Zorado Furr of the home, Mrs. Lewis Helms of Fort Mill, Mrs. Ernest R. McManus of Carolina Beach, N. C., Mrs. D. B. Covington of Rock Hill; two sons, Rufus Lee Furr of Fort Mill, John Daniel Furr of Dallas, N.C.; three brothers, John Robert Furr of Monroe, Rufus Furr and Boyce Furr, both of Pineville; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Bass of Fort Mill and Mrs. Bud Hefner of Matthews. The body will be taken to the home today and remain until the hour of service, Wolfe Funeral Home is in charge.The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, April 22, 1968
