Name also spelled as Brassilla. She had six daughters (born 1902-1907). After her husband's death, she brought the children back to Albemarle, North Carolina. They were very poor. Some of the girls went to work in the cotton mill very early.

Death
Mrs. Brazill McCrary died Dec.7, 1430, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. C. Slack, at Long Creek. She had been a semi invalid for several years. Everyone who knew her loved her. There are many who will be sorry to learn of her death. Funeral services and burial were held at Canton Baptist church. Rev. J. L. Torbert of Badin, Rev. M. L. Dorton, and Rev. C. B. Reid, of Albemarle, officiated. Mrs. Brazill Furr was married to R. J. McCrary about 50 years ago in Arkansas. He died and was buried near Little Rock 29 years ago. There are six children surviving her as follows: Mrs. Clyde Simpson, Mrs. C. B. Tucker, Mrs. CaltonWatson, and Mrs. C. C. Slack of Albemarle, Mrs. W.C. Harwood of Badin, and Mrs. Nick Boone of Greenville, S. C. She is also survived by three brothers and four sisters.
