Death
ALBEMARLE—Boyce Jackson Furr, 29, of Locust, died Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Friday at Love’s Grove Methodist Church near Stanfield by the Rev. Wade Barbee and the Rev. Howard Taylor. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leora Smith Furr; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Furr of Stanfield; three sons, Boyce Smith,Songa Osborne and Kim Osborne of the home: one daughter, Anita Lynn Furr of Concord; five brothers, Dewey Furr of Concord, Claude Furr, Junior Furr and Cecil Furr all of Stanfield, and Clegg Furr of Albemarle; two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Barr of Charlotte and Mrs. Cebron Tarleton of Stanfield.The News and ObserverRaleigh, North Carolina, June 23, 1967
