ALBEMARLE Cora Elizabeth Furr Weaver 86, died Saturday, September 29, 2001 at Manor Healthcare Nursing Center. Born November 9, 1914 in Stanfield, Stanly County, NC, she was the daughter of Gertie May Barbee Furr and Lester Henry Furr. She was a grader for Chesapeake Paper Company. Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, October 1, 2001 at the graveside in Love's Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, the Rev. Ray Moon officiating. Visitation was 4-5 p.m. Sunday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Midland. Survivors are husband, Leslie F. 'Les' Weaver of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Frances Warren of Holden Beach, NC; brother, Cecil Furr of Locus, NC; and granddaughter, Linda Warren of Columbia, SC.
