Death
Zora Belle Furr Yarbrough, 89, of 510 Holt St., Lexington, died Saturday, May 17, 1997, in Buena Vista Nursing Center, Lexington. Her funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. in Piedmont Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Wayne Sechrest will officiate and burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Born July 7, 1907, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland and Laura Almond Furr. She attended Rolling Heights Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William David Yarbrough. She is survived by nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Piedmont Funeral Home. At other times, they will be at the home of Virginia Long, 357 Baney St., Lexington. Piedmont Funeral Home is in charge.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, May 18, 1997
