Death
Miss Julia Vann Furr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. S. Furr of 1182 Efird street, died at Yadkin hospital Saturday night at 8:30 o'clock after an illness of several months. Funeral rites were conducted at Main Street Methodist church Monday afternoon at 3 o’clock, with Elder C. M. Mills of Charlotte officiating, assisted by Rev. C. G. Isley, former pastor of the church. Burial was in the cemetery of Liberty Hill Primitive Baptist church. Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two sisters, Misses Elvene and Faye Furr, and a brother, Claud G. Furr, all of Albemarle.Stanly News and Press, Albemarle, North Carolina, September 9, 1941
