Death
Funeral services for Jack Scott Furr, 37, who died Friday in a hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, were held Wednesday at the Badin Baptist Church. The Rev. L. D. Munn officiated. Burial was in Fairview Memorial Park. A veteran of World War II, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Furr, of the Badin-Albemarle road. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, the former Vivian Howell, of Badin; three children; Vivian Lee, Jacqueline, and Bartney, of the home; three brothers, Bartney, of Badin; Beecher, of Rome, Ga.; and R. C. Furr, of Colorado; five sisters, Mrs. J. E. Leversque of Miami, Fla.; Mrs. H. E. Fisher, of Bishopville, S.|C.: Mrs. W. H. Fann, of Hartsville, S. C.; Mrs. J. S.
