Death
SKIDMORE Evelyn Rose (Soni and Nana) Skidmore was reunited with her beloved late husband, John F. Skidmore on Thursday morning, September 20, 2001. Mrs. Skidmore died peacefully in the home of her daughter, Joan Lancaster, and passed gently with her loving family by her side. As was characteristic of Mrs. Skidmores entire life, her final words were, I love you too. Heaven is a brighter place today, our Queen, and we will miss you so much. Family members include Joan and Al Lancaster; Kristen and Lonnie Kitchen; Dick, Jane, Kelly, Beppy, Ty and Erin Landrum; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mackenzie and Zachary.
