Death
Mr. C. M. Furr, of this city, this morning received a wire from San Antonio, Texas, announcing the death of his brother, Prof. P. J. Furr, who has been making his home in Texas for the past few years. The death occurred at 2 o’clock this morning. The remains will be buried tomorrow in San Antonio. Mr. Furr is survived by a widow and two children. His two brothers, Messrs, C. M. and B. Z. Furr, live in Charlotte.P.T. Furr, aged 30 years, died yesterday afternoon in a tent on Alamo Heights, where he had been camping for several months in the hope that his health would be benefited. Deceased was a native of North Carolina. He leaves a widow and one child. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 5 o'clock. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
