Death
Monroe — Mrs. V. C. Davis of Monroe died at her home Wednesday night. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Don E. Sedberry of Rockingham, and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Monroe at 4 o’clock Friday afternoon. Interment will be in Monroe Cemetery.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, December 5, 1947
