Death
HIGH POINT, Oct. 29. — John Robert Furr, 75, died at his home, early this morning after illness. Surviving are the wife, the former Mary Jane McLeod of High Point; four sons, F. L. Furr of Durham, John Alvin Furr of Statesville, Robert E. Furr of Winston-Salem, and Eldridge Furr of High Point; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Flutz of Randleman, Mrs. J. C, Horne of Winston-Salem, and Miss Pauline Furr of High Point; four sisters, Mrs. Laura Burns, Mrs. Emma Williams, and Mrs. Mag Burns, all of Robbins, and Mrs. Alice Cox of Saxapahaw. Funeral will be Sunday at 2 p. m. at Southside Baptist Church. Interment will be in City Cemetery in Biscoe.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, October 30, 1948
