Individual Details
Mary Elizabeth FURR
(7 Nov 1849 - 2 Oct 1922)
According to Cassandra Dunn, "My father who is now deceased, told me that Elizabeth Furr was NEVER married although she had 7 children. He said she was a family outcast." Her death certificate shows her as single. I have a copy of an old tintype picture of my great-great grandmother Elizabeth and looks like it was taken in the back woods. She's standing beside an old iron pot that was used for boiling clothes, making lye soap and cooking."
