Death
Robbins. — L. Spinks Furr, 90, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ira Williams, Saturday evening. Funeral services will be held from Rock Hill Friends Church Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Ann Currie Furr; three daughters, Mrs. Maude Medlin of New York City; Mrs. Ira Williams of Robbins; and Mrs. Bessie Brewer of Newport News, Va.; and three sons, Charles R. Furr of Huntgington Beach, Calif., John M. Furr of New York City, and Fulton A. Furr of Newport News, Va.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, November 20, 1945
