Death
Lonnie Furr, 25, Cabarrus county, died at a local hospital Wednesday morning at 7 o'clock. He had been in a critical condition for a week. Mr. Furr was driving a pair of horses near his home in Cabarrus county when they became frightened and ran away with him. He was thrown out and fatally injured. Funeral services will be held at Fairview church, in Cabarrus county, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The deceased is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Furr, of Cabarrus county, and 10 brothers and sisters, all of whom live in Cabarrus county.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, December 22, 1921
