Sunday afternoon at the home of Rev. J R Moose, pastor of Bays chapel, Cannonville, united in marriage Mr. Wade H Furr, of Danville, V a. , a former resident of this place, and Miss Katie Rowe, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henderson Rowe, of this place. The happy couple will spend a week in the city and will then leave for Danville, their future home.Daily Concord Standard, July 8, 1895
Death
SALISBURY, Dec. 30. — Wade Hampton Furr, 69, Rimertown merchant, died today at his home. He had been in failing health for three years. Funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at Prosperity Lutheran church, where Mr. Furr was a member. Mr. Furr was a member of the Woodmen of the World and Patriotic Sons of America. Surviving are the widow, the former Miss Katie Rowe, of Cabarrus county; five daughters, Mrs. John G. Faggart, Rimertown; Miss Nanie Lee Furr, home; Mrs. E. L. Rogers, Concord; Mrs. John P. Turner, Mt. Ulla, and Mrs. Otho Walters, Cold Springs; two sons, Fred H. Furr, Cold Springs, and Clyde H. Furr, home, and a sister, Mrs. Rufus Burris, Mt.
