Death
MOUNT KOLLY — Mrs. Nancy Furr Burris, 78, died Monday at 10:45 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lawrence Lay, 403 Woodlawn road, after an illness of five weeks. She was born in Concord, the daughter of the late Paul Furr and Kate Plott Furr. Besides Mrs. Lawrence Lay, she is survived by another daughter, Mrs. Kelly Lay of Belmont. Mrs. Burris had lived here for 35 years and was a member of Aldersgate Methodist Church. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p. m. at Mount Holly Funeral Home Chapel, followed by burial in Oakwood Cemetery, Concord. Officiating will be the Rev. Willis Jones and the Rev. E. F.
