Death
Robbins — Will Furr, 59. died at his home at West End Thursday night after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at the home Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in the West End Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Flossie Furr; six daughters, Mrs. Pearl Cole and Mrs. Bettie Sheffield, both of Raeford; Mrs. Willie May Ray of Fayetteville, Mrs. Edna Crabtree of Robbins, Mrs. Margaret Harris of West End, and Helen Furr of the home; and seven sons, Carl and Neill Furr of West End, Reid Furr of Aberdeen, Archie Furr of Eagle Springs, Robert Furr of Sanford and Richardson and Marson Furr of the Navy.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, January 26, 1946
