Death
ABERDEEN--Mrs. Edna Furr Crabtree, 55, of 304 Walnut St. died Saturday at Moore Memorial Hospital in Pinehurst. The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in West End by the Rev. S. G. Moore and the Rev. Otis Goins, Burial will be in West End Cemetery. Surviving are her husband, Harlan G. Crabtree; four daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Williams of Aberdeen, Mrs. Jane Brewer of Lake View, Mrs. Elizabeth Richardson of Ellerbee and Miss Brenda Crabtree of the home; two sons, Harlan Eugene Crabtree of Pine Bluff and Gary G. Crabtree of McCain; three brothers, Neil Furr and Reid Furr, both of West End, and Archie Furr of Hamlet; and three sisters, Mrs. Helen Maness of Asheboro, Mrs. Margaret Harris of West End and Mrs. Betty Harrington of Newport News, Va.The Herald-Sun, Durham, North Carolina, August 28, 1978
