Death
Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in West End Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Flossie Furr Fulp, 65, who died at her home Thursday. The Rev. A. G. Tyson conducted the services, assisted by the Rev. Pearce Layfield of Tabor City and the Rev. R. J. Hartman of Mt. Airy. Burial was in the End Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Elijah Fulp of West End. Her first husband, now deceased, was Will Furr. From that marriage survive six daughters: Pearl Furr of Route 1, Eagle Springs; Mrs. Willie Mae Brown and Mrs. Margaret Harris, both of West End; Mrs. Edna Crabtree of Southern Pines; Mrs. Betty Sheffield of Newport News, Va., and Mrs Helen Maness of Asheboro; six sons, Reid and Neil, both of West End; Archie of Hamlet; Robert of Sanford; Carson of the Navy stationed at New London, Conn.; and Richard of Durham; and 57 grandchildren.
