Death
FAYETTEVILLE—Funeral services for Mrs. Willie Mae Brown, 49, who died Monday, will be held Wednesday at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Jernigan-Warren Funeral Home. The Rev. Charlie Branch and the Rev. W. Harvey Morris will officiate. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park. Surviving are her husband, Mack Brown; one daughter, Mrs. P. D. Jones of Fayetteville; two sons, Cecil Smith of Hope Mills and Eugene “Buck” Frazier of Fayetteville; six brothers, Reid Furr and Neill Furr both of West End, Archie Furr of Hamlet, Robert Furr of Sanford, Carson Furr of the U, S. Navy and Richard Furr of Durham; five sisters, Mrs. Pearl Williamson of Robbins, Mrs. Edna Crabtree of Southern Pines, Mrs. Margaret Harris of West End, Mrs. Betty Sheffield of Newport News, Va., and Mrs. Helen Maness of Asheboro.The News and Observer, Raleigh, North Carolina, January 10, 1962
