Death
Siler City, May 22. — Funeral for Mrs. Martha Ann Cox, 49, who died rather suddenly Saturday night at her home near Mount Vernon Springs, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Tabernacle Methodist Episcopal church, at Hemp. Interment will be made in the family cemetery at Hemp. Mrs. Cox had been ill with heart trouble for only a few hours before her death. She was a member of Tabernacle church. Surviving the deceased are her husband, Causey Cox; two sons, R. L. Cox, of Ramseur, and P. A. Cox of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Wilmer Cockman, of Mount Vernon Spring, and Misses Novie, Bonnie, Mary and Ethel Cox, all of the home.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, May 23, 1932
