Death
BADIN, Sept, 20.—Mrs. Julia Furr Coggin, 74, of Badin and Albemarle, widow of Travis J. Coggin, died at 7:30 o'clock this morning in Stanly General hospital at Albemarle. She is survived by three sons, Jimmy C. Coggin of Charlotte, Ray and Woodrow Coggin of Washington, D. C.; four daughters, Mrs. J. N. Auten of Albemarle, Mrs. T. C. Little and Mrs. John Couick of Badin, Mrs. Ralph E. Faulkner of Charlotte; a sister, who resides at Boakar, Texas; five stepdaughters, Mrs. Carl Smith and Mrs. Vance Newsome of Kannapolis, Mrs. Jesse Carter of Florida, Mrs. Clarence Ritchie and Mrs. Lee Calloway of Albemarle; 16 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of her sons from Washington. The body will lie in state at the home, 110 Falls road, Badin, and interment will be in Fairview cemetery at Albemarle.Endnotes
