Laura Janetta FURR

(8 Sep 1870 - 2 May 1964)

She and her husband moved to McKinney, Texas with his parents.

1880 Furrs Township, Stanly County, North Carolina census shows her as 8 years old.

Per Carol Brooks Taylor, "There was also a handwritten letter from Laura Furr Brooks to George P. Furr inquiring into the estate, among other things. It's hard to read her writing. She signed it with a y on the end of her name. It seems she went by Laury or Laure. Her tombstone even had a e on the end of her name."
