Birthdate calculated from death record, on file at the Menominee County Clerk's Office -- age given as 5 years, 2 months, and 22 days. The death certificate is somewhat self-contradictory: It gives the age above, but then states that she was born on 27 June 1897 -- which would have made her four years old, not five. I conclude that the death certificate was mistaken about the birth year, but not the age, because the 1897 date would be too close to the birth date of her brother.Death
