At the age of 90, Joyce Marie Byrom, passed away on Wednesday January 18, 2012 in Floresville, Texas. She was born in Niagara, Wisconsin on Feb. 28, 1921. She was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army as a Surgical Nurse. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maxim and Marie Raboin. Formerly of Von Ormy, Texas and a Floresville resident for the past 9 years. She is survived by her husband Daniel F. Byrom of Floresville; daughter, Danna Byrom of Austin; sons, Keith and wife Cheri Byrom of Atascosa, Texas and Ronald F. and wife, Patricia Byrom of Von Ormy; a sister Connie Bliven of St. Joseph, Michigan; 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service and inurnment will be held at a later date. In lieu of floral offerings please make donations to the Somerset Baptist Church Building Fund.
