Jesse Walker Kirkpatrick
(8 Feb 1810 - Bef 1857)
Jesse was the twin to Winifred P. Kirkpatrick. In 1835, he is recorded as being one of the first to file on land in Iowa County, Wisconsin, and he is mentioned 30 Jan 1839 in his mother's will; however, nothing further is known of him.

I have searched for information on Jesse Walker Kirkpatrick, but have not been successful. However, I do know that Elizabeth (Law) Kirkpatrick shows up on the 1860 census in Santa Clara County, California as Elizabeth Jeffrey. She must have remarried and while the children were little, they took on the name of Jeffrey.
Next information I have is that Thomas L. Kirkpatrick married Fannie W. Osborne. Fannie is the daughter of George Osborne and Mary (Law) who is the sister of Elizabeth (Law) Kirkpatrick. Fannie and Thomas had 3 children and they resided in San Jose, Ca. The children's names were Robert Kirkpatrick, who died at age 12, George Kirkpatrick who I have not been able to track down, and Harry Emile Kirkpatrick, my Grandfather, who married Etta Mae Mckinney. They had two children, Harriet Kirkpatrick and Patricia Kirkpatrick, my mother. The family lived in Los Angeles, Ca. All the above have passed on.
Anyway, I just wanted to shed some light on Jesse Walker Kirkpatrick. If you come across any information on him, I would truely appreciate it.

E-Mail from Joyce Blaine in Feb. 2006 states Elizabeth Kirkpatrick had remarried to James Jeffrey and was on the 1860 U. S. Census of Fremont Township, Santa Clara Co., California. Upon checking the census record her children Thomas age 10, Henry age 8, William age 6 and Alice age 5 appear to have been her children with Jesse Walker Kirkpatrick, but are listed with the last name Jeffrey. The youngest, age 1, Sarah E. Jeffrey is Mr. Jeffrey's child.
