Sarah Louisa Kirkpatrick

Sarah Louisa Kirkpatrick was born 27 Jul 1811 in Madison Co., Illinois, the tenth child of Thomas and Mary (Lane) Kirkpatrick. On 26 Nov 1837 she married in Morgan Co., Illinois to Julius Rucker, son of Abner and Nancy (Morton) Rucker. Julius was born ca. 1805 in KY and died ca. 1881, probably in Coleman Co., TX.

The family were living in Missouri by 1848. In 1853 they went to California, and were living in 1860 in Pajaro Township, Santa Cruz County. By 1870, they were living in Texas. After her husband's death in 1881, Sarah moved to Arizona, where she died in Hackberry, Mojave Co., on 13 Mar 1885.
