Francis "Frank" Marion Kirkpatrick

Frank (Francis) Kirkpatrick was born 4 July 1843 in the town of Clifton, Grant County, Wisconsin. He died in Dodgeville, Wisconsin 4 October 1910. He was married 23 or 24 December 1863 to Catherine ('Kitty') Hannon in Grant County, Wisconsin. Catherine was born 4 February 1844 in County Cork, Ireland, and died in Mobridge, South Dakota, 13 Jul 1933. At the time of their marriage the couple lived in Livingston, Wisconsin, and he was a farmer. He moved to Edmund, Wisconsin, and conducted a hotel in that town. In the 1880 census he is listed as a stage driver. In 1904 he removed to Dodgeville where he engaged in the real estate business for the rest of his life. The couple is buried in the East Side Cemetery in Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Catherine Hannon's parents were James and Ann Hannon of Lima Township, Grant County, Wisconsin. Catherine was the sister of Mary Hannon who married Frank's brother Vance.
