She married 25 May 1862 in Clifton, Wisconsin, William Wesley Gunsaulis who was born 14 August 1840 and died 11 December 1880. This couple was married in Clinfton Township, Grant County, Wisconsin, 25 May 1862, in a double wedding ceremony with Frances' brother Vance Kirkpatrick. They are buried in the Kirkpatrick Cemetery at Rewey, Wisconsin. Gunsaulis was postmaster at New California, Grant County, Wisconsin, for a number of years. New California is now a ghost town of broken buildings in a pasture.
