William Dennis Kirkpatrick

He was born 2 February 1830 in the town of Lima, Wisconsin, and died 15 April 1903. He married Jeanette Bacon on 20 May 1856. She was born 17 October 1836 in Ohio, the daughter of John and Sally Bacon, and she died at Rewey, Wisconsin, 7 July 1914. The couple lived in Mifflin, Iowa County, Wisconsin.

There were nine children born of the marriage.

On the 1900 U. S. Census of Town of Mifflin, Iowa Co., Wisconsin Film 1791, Book 2, page 147 shows William D., wife Jennette, and daughter Lottie. William's occupation is farmer.

Iowa County Democrat, Mineral Point, Wisconsin, Thursday, April 23, 1903, Page 5, Col. 3: William D. Kirkpatrick died at his home near the village of Rewey, on Wednesday of last week. Heart failure is supposed to be the cause of his death.
