Partial Obituary from The Hutchinson News, date unknown: Jessie Kirkpatrick, 92, died July 5, 1991 at Kiowa County Memorial Hospital, Greenburg. She was born Aug. 30, 1898, near Plains, the daughter of Newt and Grace Bisbee Melia. A lifetime Bucklin resident, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Christian Church, the Rebekah Lodge, the Garden Club and the Pleasant Hour Club, all at Bucklin. On Nov. 18, 1918, she married Glenn Kirkpatrick at Bucklin. He died Oct. 1, 1962.

Survivors: sons, Kenneth of Fort Collins, Colo., Warren of Dodge City, Keith of Bucklin; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with First Christian Church.
