Independence---Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at St. John's Catholic church in Independence for Mrs. A. D. (Johannah) Harrington, 80, mother of Regis Harrington of Oelwein. Mrs. Harrington a resident of Independence the past 16 years, died this morning (Thursday) at People hospital where she had been a patient eight days. Surviving in addition to her son Regis, are her husband; two other sons, Charles, Cedar Rapids and Raymond, Independence, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four sisters. Burial will be in St. John's cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Swanson funeral home, Independence, until time of services.
