Posted at findagrave.com: The Oklahoman, Monday, Sep 16, 1946: Mrs Margaret V. McManus, 60, died at her home, 1137 NW 33, Sunday afternoon following an illness of nearly a year. Mrs McManus, a resident of Oklahoma City since 1908, had been bedfast since Dec 30, 1945 when she suffered a stroke.
She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, in 1886 [1880], and moved to Shawnee in 1907, coming here a year later. Her husband, W. F. McManus, is an auditor for the Fire Companies Adjustment bureau.
Other survivors include a son, Frances, of the home; a daughter, Mrs W. R. Butcher, 2229 NW 27; seven sisters and one brother.
